ABOUT ME

My name is Marissa Fiorentino and I was born and raised in Utica, NY. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Utica College. A few months after my first son was born, my grandmother passed away. I decided that I wanted to raise my family in the same home I spent so much of my childhood in, playing in the same neighborhoods my sister and I used to ride our bikes around. My second kiddo was born not too long after that. I loved staying home with my boys as a stay-at-home-mom, but as they became school-aged, I was ready to create my business. 

When I shared my Blue Pearl plans with friends and family, they all seemed to say “Well, that makes perfect sense.” In my teen years, I used to host garage sales for family members that didn’t want to be burdened with the task. I’d stage and price and advertise and run the sale, even then! And as far as Estate Sales go, let me tell you, I remember every single one I’ve been to. The very first was when I was 4 or so, at the house next door to mine growing up. I was so excited to be in an attic! I saw a dusty old pink doll’s crib, but was too shy to tell anyone I wanted it until I got home. My mom brought me back over and we bought it for a few bucks. We later bought some white paint for it and painted it together in our backyard. 

It’s been 3 years now and I cannot be more happy with the route this dream job has taken me. I’ve hosted numerous successful sales and have worked with many lovely people. One of the biggest joys, I’m realizing, is seeing so many familiar faces at each of my sales. I’ve found my niche!
